During the monsoon period when the core area is closed for tourism, it is allowed in the buffer area of Nagalwadi (from Surewani Gate) & Paoni U.C (from Sillari Gate) so that the tourists can appreciate the lush green forests. Timing and rate of the safari remain the same as during another seasons.

Starting from December 29, 2023, Paramotoring and hot air baloon have commenced in the Kolitmara buffer village, Pench Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra. Kolitmara village hosting these activities is blessed with scenic natural beauty offering tourists the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the open blue sky and surroundings. Paramotoring, a form of adventure sport, involves gliding with a motorized parachute, reaching heights of up to 400 feet in the sky. The picturesque scenery, including the sunrise and sunset, creates a mesmerizing visual experience for tourists.
Creating a Nature Trail within Pench Tiger Reserve, Nagpur, Maharashtra, offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity of the region, with a focus on the conservation of various endanger species of wild animals and birds. The trail will provide employment to the locals as nature guides as well as tourists will be able to spend time in close proximity to nature
The Ecotourism of the Pench tiger reserve is regulated under the guidance of the Local Advisory committee set up by the state government of Maharashtra. The major role of LAC is to finalize the tourism zone as per the NTCA guidelines and propose rates for the safari.
The committee is chaired by Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur, and has members from Public representatives, NGOs, and individuals from social science also. Deputy Director works as Secretary of the committee.
